My art is not just about what is created, but about the shared journey of inspiration, process, and connection. Together, we celebrate the beauty of this earth, the strength of human beings, and the vibrant, healing energy that art brings into our lives.

Artist Biography.

Yael Shternberg is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, textile design, digital art, installation, and performance. Born in Israel in 1987, she studied jewelry and fashion design at the prestigious Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem (Graduate of 2013) where she developed a deep understanding of form, texture, and movement.

Her journey as an artist has taken her across the world—from interning with avant-garde fashion collectives in New York (2014) to establishing her own studio, where she created unique, hand-sewn garments featuring her original textile prints. Yael’s passion for the human form led her to design costumes for dancers, acrobats, and theater productions, exploring the dynamic relationship between body and art.

In 2017, she relocated to Berlin, where she immersed herself in the city’s thriving creative scene, exhibiting paintings and illustrations while expanding into large-scale installations. Over the last two years, she has lived in an eco-village in Costa Rica, deepening her connection to nature and the healing power of art. In 2024 she participated in the Mauser Foundation Residency Program in Costa Rica, followed by a new series of acrylic and water colors paintings, descriptions of life in the jungle.

Yael is also the founder of YASH Yoga Wear, an independent clothing brand that merges her artistic vision with sustainable fashion, featuring psychedelic, hand-designed prints on high-quality yoga wear. Through her brand and installations, she continues to explore the intersection of movement, spirituality, and artistic expression.

Artist Statement

Art is my language of transformation. My work is an exploration of movement—how we move through life, through space, and within ourselves. Whether through painting, digital illustration, textiles, or installation, I seek to create immersive experiences that evoke emotion, connection, and reflection.

My artistic journey has been deeply influenced by my travels and experiences—rooted in the vibrant pulse of cities, the ancient wisdom of indigenous cultures, and the stillness of nature. I embrace versatility, working across mediums to bring visions to life, from intricate textile prints to large-scale wooden installations that dance with light and wind.

In recent years, my practice has evolved into a form of healing—I am drawn to materials that are natural, whether through color, texture, or organic elements, and I craft spaces where people can pause, feel, and reconnect with themselves.

My mission is to inspire freedom—through art, through the body, through life itself.
